These are the two colours for my Norwegian gloves. The bay black alpaca has won many awards and the nutmeg colour alpaca won Alpaca Ontario 2008. They are both champions and their fleeces should be together :) I'm not sure which colour should be the background colour but I am leaning towards the nutmeg.
This is a cute little scarf from here http://buffalogold.net/store/content/view/20/41/.
I made one before in a medium brown handspun alpaca. This one is made from a blend of very soft and fine light fawn alpaca which has a slight halo. This pattern works beautifully with alpaca and it's so easy to make. I add the crotchet edging to make it flirty and feminine.

Hi Jody,
What lovely natural colors for your gloves.
I had a feeling you might comment on the colored lamb...LOL ;)
It's mother is a white corriedal/rambouillet with whose family line often has black lambs and the father is a white shetland/rambouillet that had a colorful shetland father. I have 2 of these "badger face" yearlings. I'm looking forward to shearing time to see what they're like!
Gorgeous colors! You spin the most beautiful yarn. Looking forward to seeing your gloves :)
Oh,my! my heart went pitter-patter when I saw that fiber! How beautiful! I haven't spun alpaca in too long. I need to get some back into my stash; you wouldn't know where I could get some without having to worry about the quality, would you? I've been outta the loop for too long.
Beatiful colours.
You spin so beatiful.
Happy spinning.
This yarn looks so soft and nice. What is it and where do you get it from?
Do you have any for sale?
