I'm just flicking the ends of this lovely wool I received in a trade with
Becky. I didn't want to use my combs to prep it because that would waste too much of it. I've only a pound and it's very precious.

It's soft and shiney and has the most beautiful moorit colour.

I will finish filling this bobbin and then start on the second. This will be a two ply fingering weight.

Handspun, handdyed 2ply
pygora spun last year. This is the Scarlet colour from my Ashford dyes. It's a very orangey red. I fulled this yarn alittle bit to make it fluffy. Not sure what I'll do with it yet.

Beatiful fibers.
What kind of spinning wheel do you use?
Happy spinning.
HI Zette...I have a Majacraft Rose and I use my Ashford traditional to ply on. I have a bulky flyer and bobbins for it.
Beautiful spinning! It really does make a wonderful, soft yarn! Im so delighted you like it :)
Looks complicated! I think I will stick to needle felting!
When I see wool like this my fingers are itching to feel it. Now I remember I have my own soft wool to dig my fingers in :-)
Jody,
You always have such lovely fiber.
I'm envious.
When does that new carder arrive?
Can't wait to see your work on the carder.
