Fleece and More Fleece

I'm still washing my 3 merino fleeces. This white fleece seems to have the longest staple of the bunch and the nicest tips. It's really soft and will make great blending fleece. I decided it would take forever washing it in little bits so I stuffed my lingerie bags tight with the fleece (to stop it moving around inside the bag) and it seemed to work great.
A lovely, long stapled cria fleece. I think I've got about 1/2 lb. The rest of it was sold at the Alpaca Ontario Show.
When I use my combs, I always leave fibre on both combs and then ditz top from each comb.
Shearing time is only a few weeks away and I know I will be at Hubbert Farms shearing. I can choose two fleeces. Last year I chose a cria fawn fleece and I have spun and knit the entire fleece ( it was used in all of my Alpaca Ontario entries). I will get the second shearing of the same animal because I luved it so much. Kathy has alot of beautiful brown shades, so I might pick a brown one as well.
I truly have so many beautiful alpaca fleeces in my stash. That's why I luv to knit mittens and socks with all the natural colours.
