Since arriving back from vacation, I have finished spinning and plying my Rose Grey alpaca and seasilk yarn. It's hard to capture the colour and the shine in pictures.
I have started knitting a lace scarf with it. The pattern is a free one from here http://www.purlbee.com/checkerboard-lace-scarf/

I love the natural colors of the blended and carded fibers - beautiful!
Those socks make my feet melt :) haha. They look so soft! Again I'm sidelined painting my kitchen and instead I'd love to be spinning something Alpaca. Glad you're back and looks like you had a wonderful vacation. Did you do any knitting on the plane?
Charlene where the heck r u?
I'd luv to see pics of your kitchen when u r done painting!
I didn't do much knitting at all while I was away...we were too busy travelling by car or by the Metro in Paris!
Oh boy, love lacy stitches for scarf! So airy!
Thumb up for socks - can't remember last time I knitted me socks and I really need a new pair!
Lovely knitting--but then--the yarn is so very yummy, why wouldn't it be?
Very pretty yarn and lace. Makes me want to knit some. Isn't homegrown alpaca the best?
Looks like you had lovely weather in Holland. I'd love to visit the Louvre.
