Old/New Fair Isle Book

Hurrah it has finally arrived! I borrowed the original version of this book from my library (they wouldn't sell it to me darn it) and I luved it so much. Now I have my own. This one is not a hard cover though.
The second pic of the Fair Isle gloves will be the first item I make from this book. It will be knit in a variety of handspun alpaca yarns.....black, greys and white. This is a great book and I highly recommend it to all knitters.

I love the Fair Isle look, but it scares the heck out of me lol!
I cant imagine (with my present lack of knitting talent) doing something so complicated! Can't wait to see your project!

Alice has some beautiful patterns... my favourites are the ones in Tudor Roses (my mom made Elizabeth for me)

When you can knit Fair Isle, you can knit just about anything.
It looks like a very nice book.

Hi Jody,
I know that your gloves will look gorgeous especially knitted from alpaca. Looking forward to seeing them.
