Lacey's Yarn

Washing
Plying 2 Ply
Works out to about 2200 ypp so a fingering weight.
330 grams 2 ply fingering....silky and very lustrous....thanks Lacey :-)
Yes I am knitting too. This is the Haruni Shawl in Tanis Mulberry Silk...colour Poppy. Almost finished 6 repeats of pattern before starting the edging.
Now that Lacey's yarn is finished, time to begin something different. Like Cria!
This is amazing fibre from Garcon of Hubbert Farms.A natural for laceweight.
Last but not least.... lamby luv. Lilly is in the background to the left. You can't miss that big black smudge on her nose :-)
This is my Bailey...the youngest and smallest of Abby's lambs. She will be 3 months old next week. Bailey is 50% Gotland (she looks alot like her sire...Sebastion). Her fleece is a solid silver colour now. Of all Abby's 4 black lambs, Bailey is turning silver the fastest.

Beautiful yarn!! I appreciate the concentration it takes to produce yarn like that - I just don't have it (for very long, at least). Being ADD, I flit from project to project, actively avoid projects, and when it rains (still... It's June, already - enough), stick to reading.

I have one skein of alpaca silk blend (silver) that I spun like that - took me 15 hours to spin and ply 198 yards... I have other things I'd rather be doing!!

Can't wait to see the cria spun up!
